Easy Oven Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 lb. Bulk Italian New York Style Sausage
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 15 oz. Cans Marinara Sauce or 1 32 oz. Jar Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 8 oz. Package Lasagna
- 1 cup Ricotta or Small Curd Cottage Cheese
- 12 oz. Mozzarella or Monterey Jack Cheese (sliced or grated)
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Procedure

In a preheated skillet on medium high heat, add olive oil and sausage.

Brown and crumble ground sausage, drain and set aside.

In a small sauce pot add the water, marinara sauce and salt, bring to a boil.

In 2 quart (11 3/4 x 7 1/2 inch) baking dish, layer hot sauce, uncooked lasagna, ricotta, sausage crumbles, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Repeat layers, ending with sauce.

Garnish with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Cover tightly with foil (foil not to touch the top).

Bake at 375o for 1 hour or cover dish with waxed paper and microwave approximately 25 minutes, turning 180o once.

Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
